Uni tour: Part 1 Leeds

This week I've been on a mini uni tour, ok I only wet to 2 unis but that totally counts as a tour right? The first stop on my mini tour was Leeds.  One of my best and oldest friends (not old as in she is old, old as in we have known each other since we were 3) started at Leeds in September and it was high time for a good old catch up.

She picked me up from the station and we walked back to her halls nattering all the way. Pretty much as soon as I had arrived the fire alarm started going off and we had to evacuate, prompting me to say my phrase of the trip; this is just like school! We has just started walking into tow when it started to rain cats and dogs, which quickly turned into hail, leaving us looking like drowned rats/frozen penguins!

We ended up at Trinity Kitchen , which is basically a street food venue inside a shopping center. Such a good idea and something I feel like Cambridge definitely needs (hint hint). We had pizzas followed by the best Greek Desserts ever!

And I had the biggest piece of Baklava I've ever seen!

The next day the weather had cleared, and whilst it was still gorgeously crisp and cold it was sunny!

We decided to go to the German Christmas market.

There a few things better than wondering round in the sunshine with one of your besties deciding what tasty food to eat.

Chocolate covered fruit. Nessa had a banana (tehe) and I had strawberries.

Of course, we wouldn't be us if we didn't spend at least 10 minutes trying on funny hats.

We spent the rest of the afternoon wondering round the city. That night we went to the Student Union and had such a good night. It was so nice to experience the freshers uni life. I was quite hung over on the train the next day!

I miss Ness so much, it was great to see her getting on so well at uni and having such a great time! Come home soon Ness, I need my best pal back!
