Winter Smoothie Recipie


I love a smoothie. I don't really see the appeal of buying them to be honest, they're so easy to make! This is the smoothie that I've been making since the weather has got a bit colder. Super tasty, it is basically a low-cal chocolate peanut butter milkshake. Who wouldn't want to eat that for breakfast?

So what you'll need...

Ingredients
1 banana
1 handful of ice cubes (6-7)
1 heaped tablespoon of peanut butter
1 heaped tablespoon of cocoa powder
150ml milk (I use semi-skimmed but whatever will work)


Ok, first things first, you're gonna need to freeze that banana! Do this the night before.

(NB you can do this without freezing the banana, just use more ice cubes and it will be less thick)

So chop up your banana and chuck it in the freezer

The next morning...

Something you will need to make any smoothie is a blender, I use a Nutribullet but any blender will do!

Pop your ice in the blender


Then the frozen banana (if you can chisel it off the plate)


Then your peanut butter


Add your cocoa powder


And finally your milk


And...BLEND!


And drink away to your hearts content


Again, please excuse the terrible nail polish situation, I will have nice nails...one day... maybe...when I can either afford to get them done or actually have the time to do them! Anyone who actually has the time to have nice nail, I salute you!
