Winter Skincare Heros

I feel like every time we get a hint of spring this year, winter comes are a-bloody-gain! Last Friday it was 15 degrees and sunny, I was literally walking around in a t-shirt. and then on Saturday BAM! 2 degrees and snowing. Not cool mother nature, not cool.

I have fricking dry skin anyway, but in the winter my skin is akin to the Sahara dessert on a hot day. Basically dry AF. So I thought I'd do a little post on my winter skin care heroes to try and stop my skin flaking off completely.

BODY

So my body tends to get into the so dry it gets itchy category and these are the things I've found which help.

The Triple Lanolin Aloe Vera and Lavender body lotion
This bottle is HUGE, seriously I've had it for over a year and I don't even think I've made a dent. It is so moisturizing and cooling and the pump is so handy. I mostly use this when I've shaved my legs/just as a general moisturizer if I'm feeling really dry.

Bio-Oil
I'm not going to lie, I tend to put this on my boobs either before I go to bed or if I've had a bath.

Ren Moroccan Rose Oil
My aunt Frances gave this to me for Christmas. A little goes a long way but it smells heavenly and so luxurious, would be amazing to take on holiday! Feels incredible on the skin, and if I have an event or something and I've got my arms or legs out this makes them look great!

FACE CREAM

I know this is pretty boring but I've used the same night and day face cream fro as long as I can remember.

They're the NO.7 Beautiful skin Dry/Very Dry range. They are reasonably priced, and they are pretty much always on offer for 3 for 2 anyway! They are very moisturizing with very little scent and have a reasonable level of SPF (15). No.7 do skin care for a variety of skin types and frankly I think its a brand which is to often over looked.

FACE MASKS/OIL

These are more recent additions to my skincare routine. I usually do a mask about once a week and I wear it in place of my night cream.

Origins Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask
I have a mini one of these which I got in a set and that I've almost finished. Might have to do a sneaky re-purchase. It smells amazing and elaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated in the morning.

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
I've raved before about Glossier products on here and this mask is no exception. It has a great texture and leaves my skin feeling amazing.

Eve Lom Radiance Face Oil
A bit of a luxury product but totally worth it. If my skin is feeling particularly dry I put this under my moisturizer and it makes all the difference.

Come on Spring, where are you?!
